Due to an emergency closure on Old Landywood Lane, Essington, the 71 service will be on diversion.
To Cannock - it will operate the normal line of route on Bursnip Road and the Old Landywood Road junction, but then it will divert left onto Warstone Road, at the roundabout it will turn right onto Wolverhampton Road, right onto Saredon Road and Low Street, back on its normal line of route.
To Wolverhampton - It will operate the reverse of the above.
Bus Stops missed: Upper Landywood Lane and Holly Lane in Upper Landywood, Weston Drive, Landywood Lane and Landywood Green in Landywood, and the Coltsfoot View in Cheslyn Hay.

Eccleshall Road, Creswell GroveDate: from Monday 11th May 2026
Road Closed: Eccleshall Road, Creswell Grove

Service affected: 432
Service 432 is diverted due to roadworks at Creswell Grove.
Buses will head from Stafford via Creswell and Great Bridgford, and divert on the return via Seighford and Doxey. Passengers from Creswell and Great Bridgford if travelling to Stafford will need to travel via Eccleshall / Woodseaves.
Road Closed: Eccleshall Road, Creswell Grove
Date: from Monday 18th May.
Service affected: 432
Following a change to the traffic management of the roadworks, from 18th May buses will be able to operate via the normal route on journeys from Eccleshall to Stafford. This means that the journey serving Sir Graham Balfour School in the morning will be reinstated.
Buses towards Eccleshall will divert via Doxey and Seighford, and will not stop to pick up or set down until Ladfordfields on journeys via Woodseaves, or Great Bridgeford on journeys via Walton Hall.
Sir Graham Balfour School will continue to be served at 1535, but buses will commence at the school and operate via Stafford Town Centre. Arrivals in Eccleshall will be around 10 minutes later than usual. The later journey from the school will no longer operate.
Passengers travelling from Stafford to points that are no longer being served on the outbound journey are welcome to stay on the bus to Eccleshall and alight on the return journey. There will be no additional charge to do this, but journey times may be extended by up to 40 minutes as a result.

Change to Service 25Date: 31st May 2026
There are minor changes to service 25 from 31st May 2026.
Buses towards Wolverhampton will now serve the Market Place in Willenhall instead of The Mal following the completion of works at Willenhall Railway Station. There are minor changes to departure times from Willenhall. This means buses will operate through Willenhall via the same route in both directions.
Additionally, due to the ongoing closure of Upper Villiers Street, buses will be re-routed via Goldthorn Hill and Penn Road.
